Your Impact

Apply knowledge of engineering to assist in the design of freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, intersections, roundabouts, and other transportation‑related infrastructure.

Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.

Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

Methodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.

Clearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.

Perform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.

May conduct site investigations, as well as other responsibilities associated with this position.

Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.

Who You Are

Minimum of B.S. in Civil Engineering.

EIT certification is required or will be obtained within 6 months.

1 to 4 years of roadway design experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem solver.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience utilizing MicroStation a plus.

Experience with OpenRoads Designer a plus.
