About the Role Responsibilities
Maintain and generate sales with specific accounts within the sales territory assigned (Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia, Arkansas, Mississippi, South and North Carolina) to achieve and exceed annual sales and profitability targets.
Communicate with existing customers and prospects to build long term working relationships.
Work closely with Upper Management to articulate various business decisions aligned with the overall company sales objectives.
Responsible for the timely completion of all required sales, expense, and competitive intelligence reports.
Attend and professionally represent our company brand in scientific, sales, promotional and customer meetings.
Travel required 40-50% of the time.
About You Required Qualifications
BS in Animal, Agricultural, Food Science or related fields.
5-10 years experience in feed additives, ingredient and/or grain sales in the poultry industry.
5-10 years experience in poultry production is desirable.
Ability to sell a vast portfolio of natural products, enzymes and probiotics.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Prioritize, plan, organize and follow through on projects.
Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
Demonstrated team player.
Possess a high degree of energy and entrepreneurial drive.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Preferably located in the southeastern US
