The Maui Diver’s Associate is the face of the brand to our customers and is responsible for educating and delivering highly satisfying brand experiences. Duties/Responsibilities:
Drive store results by achieving sales per hour goals. Sell based on turn system and romance techniques. Communicate courteously and clearly with customers. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all products and promotions. Enter customer data into CRM and follow up via phone or email. Build loyalty with existing customers. Oyster setup and handling (for combination locations). Knowledge of add-on sales with Pick-a-Pearl: drill, set, and glue pearls. Handle return, special order, layaway, and sizing requests. Follow security guidelines, no more than 3 items on a pad at a time. Stay aware of sales, promotions, and ringing procedures. Open/close the store: manage cash, jewelry, and clean the store. Conduct daily high-ticket inventory and secure high-value items. Assist with price changes and pull-backs. Promote financing options and build sales. Maintain visual standards and store cleanliness. Ensure a safe working environment and report maintenance issues. Provide feedback for store improvements. Education and Experience:
2+ years sales experience, preferably in a commission environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, basic math, and cash handling. Experience with SalesForce software is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Genuine desire to provide excellent customer service. Ability to work in a team, take initiative, and work independently. Effective communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to stand long hours and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Flexibility to work varying shifts, especially during peak periods. Additional duties as assigned.
