Sales Account Executive – Eurofins Built Environment Testing – Up to a $5K Sign‑on Bonus – Phoenix or Las Vegas Base pay: $70,000/yr, plus commission and potential sign‑on bonus up to $5K.

Our Built Environment Testing division offers Industrial Hygiene (IH) and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) services, including asbestos, mold, bacteria, VOCs, allergens, Legionella, radon, lead, silica, and more. Clients span consultants, industry, real estate, healthcare, government, and homeowners.

Job Description The Sales Account Executive is a client‑facing, outside sales role operating within an assigned region (Arizona, Utah, Nevada). The role involves identifying and managing client accounts and business opportunities for Eurofins Built Environment Testing Division. The account executive will travel throughout the region to meet with clients and prospects, engage in cold calling, and cultivate new and existing relationships. Knowledge of asbestos, lead, mold, and air testing is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Maximize market share, profitability, competitive advantage, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services market.

Establish and maintain productive relationships with Eurofins clients.

Provide vision and acquire new accounts to sustain business growth by representing Eurofins and clearly communicating its services to new customers and markets.

Identify opportunities and profitable work by following up on leads, negotiating, and closing.

Serve as an interface between customers and Eurofins, communicating customer needs to internal teams and acting as a customer advocate.

Meet individual revenue goals and achieve assigned regional revenue targets.

Develop and recommend pricing strategies, bid/no‑bid decisions, Master Service Agreements, and budgetary information.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports for the assigned region.

Review credit status of new and existing customers before submitting bids or proposals.

Monitor accounts receivable, resolve collection issues, and maintain customer database updates.

Develop client profiles, track leads, and close sales opportunities.

Report sales activity and update customer databases to identify opportunities.

Maintain productive relationships between customers and Eurofins laboratories.

Develop and implement account plans detailing clients, revenue goals, and objectives to achieve regional quotas.

Identify key target markets and major accounts, and develop strategies for market position and profitability.

Establish, coordinate, negotiate, and complete Master Service Agreements with customers.

Collect and document pricing information to evaluate Eurofins' ability to meet customer requirements.

Communicate customer needs to Customer Service Managers and Project Managers to facilitate successful completion of work.

Complete summaries of sales development activities as directed by Sales Director.

Enter all business opportunities (bids, quotes, proposals, pricing inquiries) into the Eurofins database.

Follow up on all outstanding bids, quotes, proposals, and price inquiries to achieve sales cycle closure.

Negotiate pricing and contractual issues with Sales Director approval.

Present Eurofins as a network of laboratories beyond geographic boundaries to improve operational efficiencies.

Control selling costs in accordance with Eurofins policy and with Sales Director approval.

Act as “sponsor” for National Accounts as needed.

Provide feedback on market conditions to facilitate new product and service development.

Maintain relationships with Eurofins network facilities to ensure operational readiness.

Provide information on business opportunity outcomes regarding win/loss ratios and future pricing strategies.

Assist in sales material development.

Gather and communicate competitive intelligence.

Identify and communicate opportunities for new products and services in the assigned region.

Travel is required; candidates must work in Phoenix and Las Vegas locations for two weeks each month.

Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Degree in Sciences or related field preferred but not required.

Minimum 2–3 years progressively successful outside sales experience in a service industry.

5 years of TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) experience preferred.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory. Some overnight travel is required.

Environmental industry knowledge preferred, specifically asbestos, lead, mold, and air testing.

Must reside in the Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV area.

Valid driver’s license.

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is required.

Ideal Candidate Would Possess

Sales skills: prospecting, interviewing, negotiating, and closing.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Sales acumen and experience with the lab industry.

Laboratory experience and exposure to the environmental sector preferred.

Competent sales and account planning.

Computer literacy.

Familiarity with lab functions and terminology.

Analytical ability.

Planning skills.

Self‑directed and capable of working in an unstructured environment.

Additional Information

Compensation range: Up to $70,000 base, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a generous commission plan.

Up to a $5,000 sign‑on bonus available for highly qualified candidates.

Position is full‑time, Monday through Friday.
