Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Sales Manager - Perimeter Security to be based out of Harvey, IL .
Reporting to Director of Sales - Security, this person will be responsible for building relationships with potential new customers and reinforcing relationships with exists clients. The person will also be responsible for achieving relevant individual and collective commercial sales revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus. What you’ll do: Experience of business development through cold calling and client meetings. Partner with many different sale channels (General contractors, EPC, end user, and strategic partners). Maintaining close professional relationships with customers and internal departments whilst reporting directly to Director of Sales. Focus to achieve relevant individual and collective commercial sales revenue targets. Effectively communicate the benefits and value of a company’s products or services to partners and potential customers. Professional presentations to customers either individually or in groups. Build relationships with potential new customers and to reinforce ones with existing clients. Responsible for selling high order value projects. Successfully build alliances and partnerships to deliver aggressive goals. Managing external sales with frequent client visits, spending 80% of time externally and 20% internally in the sales office. What you’ll bring: A bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales or related role. Excellent organizational, writing, communication, negotiating, presentation, and analytical skills. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the use of Windows Applications: Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word. Knowledge of Salesforce.com, JD Edwards platform and Tableau is a plus. Within 3 months, you’ll: Complete your Atkore immersion program. Understand Atkore’s strategic deployment process and your key metrics. Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy. Within 6 months, you’ll: Communicate sales goals, strategies, and performance updates to stakeholders. Manage sales process, pipelines and ensure timely follow-up on leads. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals. Within 12 months, you’ll: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
