Position Details Title of Position:

Service and Sales Representative

Position Type:

Full-Time (40 hours/week). Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM - 12:30PM.

Compensation Range:

$23.00/hr. - $30.00/hr.

Location:

Position is on-site at our Syracuse Branch which is located at 500 Erie Blvd W. Float position will provide coverage to our local branches as needed.

Responsibilities / Duties

Prioritize member demands while providing impeccable member service. Greet members warmly, address inquiries. Resolve and follow up on member concerns promptly and courteously.

Guide members to specialized team members for further assistance or final resolutions as needed.

Uphold understanding of all offered products and services. Identify opportunities and recommend products and services to members, to align with their financial needs and aspirations.

Engage in constructive conversations with members to expand member accounts and experiences with the credit union.

Must be licensed with NMLS & Registry. Must be trained and assist with Medallion Signature Guarantee requests.

Obtain notary within established timeframe to assist with requests.

Conduct cash handling and transaction processing accurately, adhere to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Verify member identification and authorization for transactions to safeguard against fraud and unauthorized access.

Provides departmental back‑up coverage as needed.

Respond effectively to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other processes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Associate degree required with 1-3 years of experience; 3-5 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Obtain notary license within 1 year of acceptance of role.

Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.

3-5 years' experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
