Hospice Sales Representative - Caris Sumter

Caris HealthCare is hiring a Hospice Sales Representative to develop and maintain working relationships with referral sources and professional community contacts to increase access to hospice care for terminally ill patients. Pay is $60,000 - $70,000 yearly, depending on experience. The Representative is responsible for meeting market share goals.

Responsibilities
Identify new referral sources using corporate resources and community contacts.
Collaborate with Regional Director, Sales & Marketing to develop, implement and evaluate quarterly territory plans.
Develop and follow a call plan to achieve pre‑established objectives; conduct a minimum of 40 sales calls and presentations each week and generate referrals by building long‑term business partnerships.
Use sales techniques for opening, probing needs, presenting, handling objections and closing.
Meet admission targets consistently on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Maintain key business accounts and build relationships with prospective accounts by following up with individuals as appropriate.
Develop and maintain relationships with nursing homes, physician offices, discharge planners, hospitals and the hospice team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of the sales process in a health care environment.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; outgoing, perceptive, self‑motivated and able to work harmoniously with diverse groups.
Willingness to travel overnight as required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to function efficiently in a stressful work environment.
