Who They Are
We're working with an innovative manufacturer of building envelope systems specializing in skylights, custom façades, and canopy & window systems. They combine technical engineering, functional mechanical constructability, and aesthetic design to deliver high-performance architectural solutions, especially for large commercial and parking garage projects. They are seeking an Architectural Sales Representative who bridges design, engineering, and construction to work closely with architects, general contractors, and internal engineering teams to sell the company's products.
What You'll Do
Drive architectural system sales
Engage architects, GCs, and specification writers early in project cycles to specify appropriate product solutions
Translate architectural and engineering requirements into functional solutions
Collaborate with internal engineering/shop drawing teams to develop proposals, mockups, and support technical submittals
Provide technical insights in proposals, such as assisting clients and GCs with clarifications and mitigating design/constructability conflicts
What You'll Need
Background with architectural and construction / general contractor experience
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret structural drawings, understand framing systems, and glazing/facade performance
Working knowledge of environmental and weather exposures (wind zones, saltwater (coastal) effects, durability, finishes)
Ability to travel to project sites as needed (~20-25% of time)
