As a Remote Sales Representative you will focus on expanding Maverick’s current customer base by helping customers move their product in the most cost-effective way possible. You will have the opportunity to sell Maverick’s services to the customer, but to also continually service those customers’ ever-growing transportation needs. Being team-centric, yet individually driven will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails
Understand customer needs/requirements and provide them with top notch transportation solutions
Grow and develop accounts to their highest potential through strong customer relationships and referrals
Partner with operations leaders to ensure your customers are provided with outstanding service
Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments within the logistics industry
Requirements:

Self-driven with a desire to succeed
Ability to think creatively to find solutions
Prior sales, operations or customer service experience preferred
Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Modern Office Technology
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus
2 years experience or more in a logistics/brokerage sales role required
