OUTSIDE SALES ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE – MID ATLANTIC REGION, CHARLOTTE, NC
NC Overview R.F. Fager Company, a trusted and long-time distributor of plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen and bath products, is growing and expanding in the mid-Atlantic area to North Carolina. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and managing client relationships for our Bath Group. You will play a key role in expanding our reach and enhancing the customer experience by promoting our wall systems, plumbing fixtures, and bathroom accessories. The ideal candidate must have a customer-first attitude, a positive approach to sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Responsibilities Meet or exceed key performance metrics and sales goals to drive sales growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, remodelers, contractors, wholesalers, and design professionals. Conduct regular territory visits, customer meetings, and product presentations. Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects using Solar Eclipse and other tools. Generate accurate quotes and follow up to close sales. Coordinate closely with inside sales, purchasing, and delivery teams to ensure seamless service. Deliver marketing materials, samples, and small product orders when needed. Stay informed on product offerings and industry trends to provide expert guidance. Represent R.F. Fager with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric focus. Requirements Proven and successful outside sales experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely. Background in home improvement, kitchen, or bath-related products is strongly preferred. Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (experience with Solar Eclipse is a plus). A self-starter mindset with excellent follow-through. Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
