Sales Representative
The Sales Representative is responsible for building and managing relationships with dealers, builders, remodelers, and design studios. This role focuses on increasing product awareness, driving revenue growth, and providing world-class customer support. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, knowledgeable in the cabinetry or building-materials industry, and comfortable selling within a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and onboard new cabinetry dealers, builders, contractors and design partners.
Grow revenue within an assigned territory by expanding product penetration and securing new accounts.
Conduct product presentations, showroom trainings, and sales meetings with partners.
Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and follow-ups to close deals.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Provide product knowledge, installation guidance, 2020 design support and service support as needed.
Communicate lead times, pricing updates, promotions, and new product releases.
Track opportunities and forecast sales.
Maintain an organized weekly schedule of dealer visits, jobsite meetings, and business development activities.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support strategic planning.
Work closely with internal teams including inside sales, logistics, and operations to ensure timely deliveries and issue resolution.
Coordinate with marketing to support events, trade shows, and promotional campaigns.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in B2B sales; cabinet, building materials, or home-improvement sales preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to read kitchen layouts, cabinet plans, and construction documents (or willingness to learn)
Knowledge with 2020 design program (or willingness to learn)
Self-motivated excellent time-management and territory-planning abilities.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within assigned territory.
Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer tools (Excel, email, word).
