Powerhouse . This position is responsible for the entire construction project from mobilization to completion, overseeing day‑to‑day operations of retail/commercial renovation job sites.

Responsibilities

Study the Project Manual, job specifications, construction drawings and ensure timely start and finish, safety, quality of work, and subcontractor performance for each phase.

Understand scope, evaluate and recommend means and methods, estimate time, and initiate scheduling changes to minimize cost and time.

Manage and work alongside construction crews in installation/repair of concrete, asphalt, structural steel, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and other tasks as needed in a live retail environment.

Maintain a presence on the jobsite as defined by program expectations.

Ensure blueprints and plans are followed precisely; evaluate risks that impact successful delivery of blueprint intent.

Provide daily reporting on project status with photos via project management applications.

Coordinate and facilitate the RFI process.

Interface with local permitting authorities to ensure compliance and coordinate required inspections including permit closeout.

Pass a drug screen and background check.

Operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.

Travel a minimum of 14 weeks at a time across the U.S. and by air.

Work nights and weekends as required.

Confirm all tasks are complete and correct during final handoff.

Perform hands‑on work for approximately 20% of the time (e.g., installing a paper towel holder or hardware).

Supervisory Responsibilities

Plan and organize tasks for project field staff and subcontractors.

Maintain project schedule and minimize delays.

Examine work for exactness and accuracy.

Ensure safety protocols are always followed.

Organize and participate in weekly toolbox talks.

Qualifications

Hungry to learn and lead in the construction industry.

Comfortable traveling and adapting to new environments.

Motivated by big challenges.

Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role and five (5) years’ experience in a relevant trade.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting; experience with ProCore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build is a plus.

Must pass an MVR, background, and drug test.
