Overview In the service lane, you will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through the repair process, managing technician schedules, and ensuring a smooth, customer‑centric experience. The role welcomes individuals with customer service, retail sales, or hospitality experience, even if new to the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
Oversee flow of the Drive Lane and ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
Assist customers in determining needed services based on vehicle maintenance concerns.
Communicate completion times, estimates, and changes to customers.
Take ownership of the customer’s experience, performing additional tasks to leave a positive impression.
Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries (phone, email, text, in person).
Ensure daily technician time inventory is sold to service customers.
Distribute work among technicians efficiently.
Communicate parts, repair order details, costs, and warranties to customers, peers, and management.
Schedule customer appointments.
Maintain a professional appearance and neat work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong listening, observational, organizational, and time‑management skills.
Ability to motivate and build rapport with people.
Ability to work autonomously and manage own caseload.
Empathetic, non‑judgmental, and ethical approach.
Valid driver’s license.
Professional, well‑groomed appearance.
Ability to multitask.
