We are currently hiring Part-Time Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters in various neighborhoods from North Seattle, Downtown, West Seattle, South Seattle, Des Moines, Kent, Auburn to Federal Way. We provide high quality pet sitting and dog walking services with an emphasis on reliability, consistency, and safety. Our team is composed of life-long animal lovers who are deeply dedicated to the well-being of the pets entrusted to their care. The area you live in is typically the area you work in; service zones aren’t set. We build a custom schedule based on your location and availability. Routes are localized, pre-scheduled, and mapped for efficiency by our office team. Responsibilities

Provide professional and high-quality pet care, including dog walking and pet sitting for regular weekly, one-time, and vacation-care clients (cleaning, feeding, walking, playing, petting, brushing, pet waste clean-up, light housekeeping, medication administration, etc.). Provide dog walking at an appropriate pace for individual pets and support owners’ training regimens. Communicate with the Frolic office and clients; provide appointment updates and pet photos/videos via our app. Update the team on changes to client details or instructions, especially regarding pets, home instructions, locations, and safety. Monitor for potential issues and maintain a focus on safety and pet health. Additional responsibilities will be highlighted in the interview process and at hire. Qualifications

Experience in the animal industry is highly desired but not required (examples: dog walker, dog trainer, veterinary technician, kennel tech, animal caretaker, etc.). Must deeply love animals with a caring personality and prioritize safety and pet happiness. Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle required. Reliable smartphone with data, GPS, email, camera, and messaging; you will use an app with location services. Vaccination against COVID-19 as recommended by the CDC. Some clients may request masking in their homes. Patience, calm demeanor, problem-solving ability, and strong attention to detail and safety. Strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to ask questions or address issues. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and cover for co-workers when needed. Time management, self-motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Professional, friendly, and trustworthy with references. Physical Requirements

This role is highly active. You may walk 4-6 hours of total walk time per day, across 4-10 miles, in various weather conditions. Physical tasks include standing, walking, twisting, bending, squatting, reaching, talking/hearing/seeing, handling, and driving. See details below for frequency guidelines used by WA L&I. $21-22/hr starting base, DOE. Includes paid drive times between appointments. Sleepover services in clients’ homes (overnight) may include approx $70+ per night in addition to regular hours. Tips (client-dependent; many employees receive 15-30% in tips). Paid training with our dog trainer; mileage reimbursement for coverage outside your dedicated zones.
