Sage Intacct is a leading cloud accounting solution that helps small to midsized businesses manage their financials. As an Account Executive, you’ll work closely with our SDRs, build pipeline, and manage the end‑to‑end sales process with customers.
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify opportunities and pursue conversion of qualified leads to customer solutions with subscription‑based revenue.
Receive and nurture inbound leads.
Deliver value propositions through customer meetings, telephone, internet, and webinars.
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales.
Forecast all opportunities based on the Sage Intacct sales model and opportunity‑management definitions.
Build pipeline and manage the full sales cycle by working closely with SDRs.
Interact with customers to understand their business needs and apply Sage Intacct solutions.
Leverage the market trust from accounting professionals and CPA networks.
Balance 75% leads provided by the marketing team with 25% self‑generated opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of B2B quota‑carrying software or technology sales experience (preferably ERP).
Minimum 2+ years managing and closing complex sales cycles, selling to the C‑suite.
BS/BA degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
Hospitality or related experience (hotels, restaurants, sports, or entertainment).
Track record of over‑achieving quota (top 10–20% of company).
Strong business aptitude with proven success in net new logo sales in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑starter who is results‑driven, motivated, and ambitious with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Previous sales methodology training.
Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
