Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in a visually appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customers to return. Impress them with your product knowledge, customer service skills, and enthusiasm for music and pop culture. Maintain the sales floor and ensure areas meet visual standards. Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote additional benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup. Assist with planogram changes, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising. Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners. Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry. Support stock room organization and store cleanliness. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals. Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Previous retail experience preferred. A love for music and pop culture is a plus! Strong customer service and sales skills. You must be at least 16 years old to join the team. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay rate: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour. The final salary will depend on education, location, experience, and other factors.
