Your Role RPM has experienced tremendous growth in recent years, driven by rapid growth in the vehicle and freight brokerage market. We're looking for a true team player—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently creates value. As a Carrier Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for building strong carrier relationships, negotiating competitive rates, and collaborating closely with our customer sales team to ensure seamless, on-time delivery—contributing to the high-quality experience RPM is known for.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Establish, expand, and cultivate relationships with carriers in the freight and auto hauling marketplace

Identify, source, and procure new carrier relationships at key stakeholder levels

Manage carrier network to ensure the ultimate RPM experience

Maintain constant contact with carriers to secure additional truck capacity and manage existing business

Utilize RPM’s proprietary software to make informed buying decisions

Navigate RPM’s Transportation Management System and related tools to manage daily load operational tasks

Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system

Preferred Qualifications

Must excel in a team-based environment, while delivering independent results

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

Must be self-motivated and bring a can-do attitude to the job

Work full-time M-F, and willing to work outside normal business hours based on the needs of the business

Base + Commission (uncapped)
