Job Description We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the South‑West Indiana territory covering Warren, Fountain, Vermillion, Parke, Montgomery, Putnam, Owen, Clay, Vigo, Sullivan, Knox, Davies, Greene, and Martin counties. The role involves establishing and maintaining client relationships, conducting product demonstrations, managing a designated sales territory, and identifying new opportunities through market trend analysis.
Responsibilities
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
Engage in direct sales activities, including cold calling and lead generation, to expand the customer base.
Manage assigned territory effectively, ensuring consistent follow‑up with leads and existing customers.
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that support sales initiatives.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience in outside sales or direct sales, preferably in the fire industry.
Strong skills in lead generation and territory management.
Ability to conduct engaging product demos that effectively communicate value propositions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients.
Proficiency in analyzing data to inform sales strategies and decision‑making processes.
Self‑motivated with a results‑oriented mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with CRMs is a plus but not required.
