THIS POSITION IS A REMOTE ROLE
Key Account Manager We are looking for a Key Account Manager who has demonstrated the ability to manage several large and/or medium‑sized key accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical background in telecommunications, data communications, or fiber optics, and will be responsible for maintaining and growing our business with the assigned Key Accounts. This role requires new business development on standard conduct, Micro/FP conversions, and accessory sales. The position is remote, based from home, with an expectation of traveling 50‑70% of the time.
How will you contribute to the team?
Maintain productive customer relationships by coordinating all support aspects of services rendered, including pricing, problem solving, technical inquiries, and reporting.
Stay abreast of new developments in the industry to ensure the company and the customers are aligned with new technical and commercial developments.
Develop relationships to grow a mix of existing accounts and to identify new accounts and opportunities.
Provide specific guidance to Regional Sales Managers covering a territory regarding Key Accounts.
Work an account from start to finish, including pricing, cross‑functional team coordination, resolving issues, and delivery.
Communicate effectively with customers, team members and internal resources to resolve matters in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Provide status reports and performance reports to measure customer progress and satisfaction.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
Work as a member of the US sales team and report to the Director of Strategic Accounts.
Collaborate with District and Regional Sales Managers, Product Development, Product Management, and Marketing.
Be a strong team player, adaptable, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Interpret technical information and translate it into common terminology.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and process improvement skills.
Work well in a team‑oriented environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, while also working independently, prioritizing workload, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Build rapport with key clients using strong negotiation and leadership skills.
Possess detailed knowledge and experience of large accounts ($1‑5 million) management.
Know how to write an account plan and take the necessary steps to implement that account plan.
Advanced computer skills, including CRM experience and Salesforce.
What are the skills/experience required?
4‑year college degree or equivalent.
English is the required language to work with US customers.
Managing several large and/or medium accounts with patterns of increased growth and profitability.
Physical requirements for the position such as mobility, vision, strength, etc. (applicable in line with local laws).

Compensation for this position will typically range from $108,000 to $176,000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short‑ and long‑term incentive compensation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage, a 401(k)‑retirement savings plan, paid company holidays, paid vacation time, paid sick time, parental leave, short‑ and long‑term disability leave, and an employee assistance program.
