Supervise the daily operations of a geographically assigned sales team that sells to residential customers, offering best‑in‑class services and supporting the goals of soliciting new prospective customers. Major Duties and Responsibilities
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Responsible for meeting and exceeding budgeted headcount and sales goals. Build, lead, and develop a charismatic and enthusiastic team, creating excitement and energy. Prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives with strong project management skills. Recruit, interview, hire, and train Residential Connectivity Sales staff. Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable fairly. Guide and develop Residential Connectivity Sales Specialists in their roles. Identify training gaps and develop plans to address them. Use reporting and analytics to support business decisions. Collaborate with other departments and support teams to achieve goals. Work approximately 60% field‑work and 40% office‑work. Coach staff in Charter’s Sales Process. Communicate territory assignments to sales specialists. Monitor payroll and ensure timely, accurate commission payments. Handle employee relation issues, performance appraisals, coaching, and training. Complete administrative tasks related to sales activities. Maintain detailed knowledge of Charter’s product offerings and value proposition. Maintain knowledge of the marketplace, competition, and sustain professional relationships. Prepare reports as needed. Perform other duties as requested by leadership. Required Qualifications
Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment‑based immigration sponsorship. Average target compensation of $100,000 + uncapped incentives. Required Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
Read, write, speak and understand English. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong technical and computer skills. Ability to travel (including in inclement weather) to assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle. Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season. Familiarity with various consumer and commercial communication devices and computer software. Ability to work non‑traditional hours such as evenings and weekends. Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and auto insurance. Ability to complete documentation accurately. Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience. Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
2+ years of Outside Sales or related work experience. Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of Direct Sales practices. Experience with consumer education of products and services. Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services. Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Sales Supervisory experience preferred – 0.5+ years. Working Conditions
Field and office environment. Outside field environment with exposure to inclement weather. Travel as required. Benefits
