The Opportunity with McKinstry We are adding an Energy Account Executive to our growing Energy division in Salt Lake City. This position will be responsible for managing and selling to new and existing customers. Additionally, some responsibilities may include:

Business Development

Work independently to initiate and develop consultative relationships with clients primarily in the MUSH market.

Manage the development of projects including developing proposals and maintaining trusted customer relationships.

Closely collaborate with internal local and regional resources to build trust and vision to accelerate opportunities.

Develop and execute a growth focused market strategy which considers building the McKinstry brand and building opportunity pipeline with alignment of budget and return on investment of activities.

Client Relations

Initiate and develop consultative relationships with potential and existing clients, from front‑line staff to senior C‑suite leadership.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability and eagerness to prospect and qualify new opportunities and define a resulting path to contract.

Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience focused on developing and executing complex outcome‑oriented contracting strategies, including previous leadership, sales, and marketing with a general contracting, energy services or related organization, with responsibilities for identifying leads, closing sales, and providing guidance and direction to a project implementation team required.

Working knowledge of the enabling legislation as it pertains to contracting methods such as Performance Contracting, Design Build, etc. preferred.

Pay Range The pay range for this position is $95,175 – $137,700 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
