Position Overview: Drives revenue by providing clients with exceptional service through relationship building, sharing style and product information, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. Consistently achieves individual goals that support store objectives.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Ensure compliance with all ANN INC. practices and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager, Co-Manager, and Sales Leads.
Revenue Generation:
Meet or exceed divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals, contributing to the store’s overall success.
Client Experience:
Provide excellent client service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to ANN INC. service standards.
Build relationships with clients to foster loyalty; multi-task effectively while servicing clients.
Address client concerns, seek resolution, and involve management when necessary.
Maintain a gracious, friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor at all times.
Take ownership of professional growth by soliciting and incorporating feedback; aim for positive client feedback.
Communicate effectively with management, team members, and clients via in-person, written, and phone interactions.
Build collaborative relationships, value differences, and promote a positive team environment.
Lead by example, embodying our values and fostering a culture of learning and trust.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable laws.
Operations:
Complete opening and closing procedures, including replenishing merchandise, store recovery, shipment processing, cleaning, merchandising moves, and pricing updates.
Maintain organized and accessible work areas, meet merchandise processing standards, and adhere to Loss Prevention practices.
Report hazards and participate in inventory preparations.
Follow scheduled hours, record time accurately, and remain flexible to business needs.
Review bulletin boards daily and follow operational guidelines and procedures.
Technical Expertise:
Navigate ANN INC. computer systems and perform register transactions efficiently.
Use tools like DOMs and StyleFinder effectively to locate products and process transactions accurately.
Operate the phone system professionally and understand PDT functions.
Product/Brand Management:
Understand and articulate the company's brand positioning, marketing initiatives, and promotional events.
Live the company's purpose, values, and behaviors in all interactions.
Participate in store meetings and utilize educational tools to enhance product and styling knowledge.
Stay current with fashion trends and represent the brand appropriately.
Package and wrap purchases according to standards.
Position Requirements:
Provide excellent client service and build a loyal client base.
Follow directions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Apply visual merchandising standards effectively.
Communicate effectively with clients, management, and team members.
Handle cash accurately and provide correct change.
Be flexible with scheduling to meet business needs.
Lift and carry up to 20 pounds and move effectively around the store and stockroom.
Educational Requirements and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
At least one year of sales associate experience or relevant service industry experience with proven results.
