MON-FRI 9a to 6p Position Overview: The Account Executive position is a consultative sales role within our Direct sales team. Individuals in this position are responsible for managing customer’s small business accounts including local phone, internet, mobility, data services, and now social media accounts. This professional is responsible for handling a portfolio of customers, addressing inquiries, and learning about customer needs to make recommendations while maximizing value and revenue. This position requires strong up-selling, cross-selling, and customer service skills by utilizing probing techniques to provide solutions using WOMSGA products and services. Our sales professionals receive ongoing training to understand all products and promotions and how they can add value to WOMSGA local small business customers' needs. Essential Job Functions: Discuss customer’s membership accounts and provide solutions for their business needs. Sell WOMSGA products and services to achieve goals in Advertising and Marketing by evaluating customer needs and providing solutions. Enhance the customer experience by communicating with customers by telephone and via email to provide information about new opportunities, promotions, products, and services. Navigate directory software to accurately retrieve customer records. Job Requirements: Ability to have a consultative conversation with business customers and discuss their business needs. Ability to persuasively present products and services to meet customer needs, address and overcome objections, and close sales. Demonstrate commitment to providing the highest quality of service to the customer. Competitive and driven by daily, weekly, and monthly goals while staying motivated to meet work objectives within policy and acceptable standards. Organize work and time to ensure delivery of results and display a strong work ethic. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; listen to individuals on the telephone while navigating screens and entering provided information. Provide a unique positive customer experience for each customer by adapting interpersonal and sales approach to the customer’s style and situation. Speak in a clear, logical, and confident manner; actively listen to others and quickly read and comprehend written materials. Familiarity with basic operations of Windows operating systems, internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome), and email (Microsoft Outlook). Ability to formulate responses and articulate interactions through email and over the phone. Education: Some college or college degree preferred, but NOT REQUIRED Experience: 1 year experience in direct sales contact preferred. 1 year of employment in commission-based sales preferred.
