Channel Partner Sales Engineer Location:
Candidates must be located in CST. Summary: The Channel Sales Engineer supports the North American Channel Sales team and partners by engaging in field-related activities for both new and existing opportunities. The role involves developing Varonis’s Channel Partner platform and product capabilities. The engineer collaborates closely with Channel Account Managers, National Channel Account Managers, and key regional partners. The primary goal is to communicate the value of Varonis products in relation to partner solutions and Go-To-Market strategies. The role aims to build strong Varonis competencies and relationships with strategic partners while ensuring channel metrics and goals are met or exceeded. Responsibilities: Understand partner business needs and integrate Varonis solutions into their portfolios. Create and deliver presentations and demos that showcase Varonis products' value. Provide technical support, coaching, and expertise to channel partners for effective promotion and sales. Proactively increase Varonis adoption within partner ecosystems and build relationships with technical resources. Promote Data Governance, Data Loss Prevention, Ransomware, and Compliance, establishing Varonis as a market leader. Manage technical and product aspects of RFP/RFI responses with partners. Relay client needs to product teams for future enhancements. Monitor partner performance and identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery and customer satisfaction. Contribute to channel partner strategies and programs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales roles. Experience in a channel partner or customer-facing role is preferred. Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives. Proven success in solution selling and technical pre-sales. Strong relationship-building skills with senior executives. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
