What will you be doing? As a member of the Reconstruction Sales Team, the ASR will work within an assigned territory and hospital accounts. Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the scheduling of operative cases and securing inventory for those cases
Observing and consulting the surgical team on Smith+Ne instrumentation and implants
Completing logistical requirements associated with operative cases
Assimilating and learning a high level of technical information related to surgery and procedures
What will you need to be successful? Success relies on becoming a technical expert in the Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio through structured training and assessment while building rapport with Sales Reps, leadership, surgeons, KOLs, hospital staff, and co‑workers. You will:
Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet or exceed quota
Build positive relationships to enhance access to customers and provide data‑driven solutions
Be team‑oriented, highly attentive to detail, and flexible with untraditional hours to support the sales force and customers
Take strategic responsibility for your area and help partner with all Reconstruction and Sports Medicine counterparts in the region
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience
Valid driver’s license applicable to current residence to facilitate travel requirements
Travel Requirements Within the designated sales territory with 2–4 overnights per month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences.
All field sales professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of those facilities, including established vaccine protocols.
