Mission Foods is looking for a talented Sales Specialists to support its Sales Force in the Tampa, FL area. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
Delivers racks and builds displays in ways that encourage customers to buy products.
Prospects for new business. Sells products and incremental space/displays.
Develops strong trade relationships with customers. Identifies service issues.
Ensures Planograms (POGs) are utilized to increase customer purchases. Recommends how many products should be visible to the customer at a time, how high or how low the product should sit on shelving units and what related products should be on display nearby.
Ensures sales tag integrity through inspection and proper placement. Checks for voids.
Communicates back to Area Sales Manager and District Sales Managers daily and weekly.
Identifies service issues and potential service issues.
Keeps warehouses clean and maintained.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required, some college preferred. 2 Years of related experience in sales and/or merchandizing. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above education/experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
Work requires a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Candidate must live in the geographic area to ensure a reasonable commute and access to customers in the assigned district.
Able to work flexible hours and days, including weekends as needed.
Able to lift/move up to 40 pounds.
Most of the work is in stores and some in the warehouse.
English and Spanish strongly preferred.
