Sr Enterprise Sales Executive - Tampa, Broker Centric

Overview Sell Paychex's products and services by developing new clients and expanding our broker partnerships to increase profits within the core sales, HR services, and major market sales organizations. The Senior Enterprise Sales Executive identifies potential clients through prospecting, consults on payee solutions, and sells those solutions to new clients within assigned territories. You will be responsible for self‑generating leads, managing your sales pipeline in CRM, forecasting monthly results, and achieving your assigned sales quota.
Responsibilities
Drive sales execution of existing broker partnerships, increasing channel productivity across all sales divisions by developing and implementing strategies with sales management to penetrate assigned accounts.
Initiate, participate in, and supervise training of field sales representatives and broker channel sales teams to develop sales‑skill knowledge of the broker market.
Prospect for new national and regional broker partnerships.
Leverage the Go‑to‑Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present Paychex solutions to key stakeholders and decision makers through in‑person or virtual interactions to increase revenue and market share.
Consult with potential clients to determine optimal solutions for business challenges and accommodate specific needs.
Call on potential clients in person and by phone to present Paychex products and services.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with assigned referral sources.
Own accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting.
Analyze current client practices to identify additional sales opportunities.
Meet or exceed agreed sales activity and targets.
Assist in the conversion process for new clients, including submission of complete paperwork and successful processing of initial payroll.
Work closely with Client Services staff to achieve client satisfaction.
Record all sales activity and results in SFDC in a timely manner, preferably daily.
Support effective new client implementation and transition with Client Services and Implementation teams.
Complete regular reports as required, including CRM updates.
Assist in the development of less experienced Sales Executives as needed.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and regular attendance.
Maintain ethical business practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
2–6 years of experience in the HCM industry preferred.
Able to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment without direct daily supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Strong mathematical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Driver’s license required.
Compensation The compensation range for this position is typically $75,000 – $150,000. This range includes base pay plus commissions and may vary based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
