What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas through effective client engagement

Develop and grow a pipeline of opportunities for AspenTech products within the process industries

Manage day-to-day sales processes, including coordinating account meetings and sales support resources

Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to sales and executive management

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at assigned accounts

What is Required (Qualifications):

Minimum of 5 years of software sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales quotas

Experience in direct sales of software solutions, particularly in multimillion-dollar campaigns

Ability to establish and cultivate “C” level consultative relationships

Excellent written and oral communication skills

University degree required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Production, or Petroleum engineering

Experience selling to customers in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, or other process industries

Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, including APC/real-time optimization and asset management
