Recruiting Specialist – Commercial Sales Consultant
A leader in the Building Materials and Construction industry is looking for a Commercial Sales Consultant to help manage existing customers and develop new business with commercial builders, architects, contractors and commercial organizations.
Responsibilities
Prospecting for new business to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction
Generate growth within existing accounts through excellent relationship building
Actively network and represent the company and its products at professional and industry events and meetings
Strive to build strong customer relationships by engaging in a consultative sales process
Respond to client concerns while striving to achieve first‑time resolution to all client problems and issues
Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure successful after‑sale service requirements and installations
Maintain an exceptional level of expertise on products, services and the competitive landscape
Skills and Qualifications
Experience selling to the commercial building material trade industry
Bachelor’s degree or related experience
Proven success in securing and managing complex sales projects
Proven track record of successful sales “hunting” experience, including cold calling, networking and referral generation
Demonstrated ability to build value and address objections toward closing a sale
Skilled at networking and developing new relationships
Proven ability to build trust and reliability with customers that contribute to developing long‑standing partnerships and generating referrals
Focused on details and follow‑through; able to manage long sales cycles
Tenacious, able to persevere through challenges and setbacks
Excellent influencer, able to convey value proposition
Enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment
Able to accurately read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Demonstrated record of a strong work ethic
