Job Description Nobilis is an established fabric and wallcovering house founded in 1929 in Paris. Our New York showroom, located in the D&D Building, seeks an Inside Sales Associate to join our team. We’re looking for someone who brings a strong sales mindset and the ability to build lasting client relationships. You thrive in a refined, customer‑focused environment and genuinely enjoy connecting with people. Interior design experience is not required, but a love for beautiful design and an appreciation for aesthetics is highly preferred. At Nobilis, we pride ourselves on delivering thoughtful, high‑level customer service while creating a welcoming showroom experience.
Responsibilities
Greet designers and develop conversation leading to project assistance
Provide guidance and product knowledge on weaves, inspiration, design, product use and applications
Fulfill and manage in‑person sample requests and sample room inventory
Customer service including order entry, payment processing and post‑sale support
Involvement with our Outside Sales Team
New client development
Attend in‑office Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm
