R-100105**Job Description:****Essential Duties/Responsibilities:*** Provides leadership, training and coaching to ensure optimal performance of the sales team* Contributes to Division sales strategy* Provides regular performance updates to senior management* Promptly addresses performance issues* Addresses escalated customer issues to ensure resolution* Ensures sales agents maintain established sales standards* Assumes responsibility for the effective administration of designated sales team functions* Oversees sales agents expense reports to ensure compliance with T&E policy* Establishes effective reporting and communication with sales team to ensure they are appropriately informed of management expectations, policies, procedures and programs* Accurately and promptly completes required reports and related documents.* Ensures that designated sales team has all necessary equipment, supplies, and sales/marketing materials* Motivates sales agents, ensuring optimal performance, maintaining KPI’s including revenue, gross margin, close rates and lead generation* Conducts formal interviews for open sales & support positions for designated sales teams.* Ensures team promptly completes all required training* Continually searches for opportunities to improve results and effectiveness.* Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety* Other duties as assigned**Minimum Requirements:*** 5+ years of sales management experience* 5+ years’ experience leading successful, productive teams* High school diploma or GED* Computer competency is required, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook* Familiarity with ERP or related computer software* Knowledge or aptitude to understand HVAC systems and processes* Ability to manage projects and resources* Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Valid driver's license required**Preferred Qualifications:*** College degree* 5+ years of sales management experience within a construction/HVAC or home services environment**Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Leadership skills and effective leadership behaviors* Consultative and collaborative selling approach* Proactive mindset* Strong work ethic* Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task* Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, with all levels of the organization* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Capable of making good judgments/decisions.* Willingness to learn and be a part of a team* Positive attitude and a team player* Ability to build positive relationships with customers, both internal and external* Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.* Safety mindset and acceptance of a safety culture* Related experience may be substituted for education**Working Conditions:*** Open office environment* May be exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odors* Fast-paced environment* Travel by vehicle to and from work locations* Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE**Physical Requirements:*** Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds frequently* Frequently performs tasks requiring bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching* Must be able to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots* Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting* Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.* With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception* Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others* Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad* Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and toolsAirtron is an equal opportunity employer.
