Position Summary FreshDirect Business is a high focus priority within the FreshDirect enterprise and we're looking for a talented, hungry sales contributor who will be responsible for direct, proactive customer interactions every day with valued customers with the objective of managing, retaining & growing all accounts.

What You’ll Do
Own relationship development primarily via phone, email and in‑person visits, with an exclusive group of FreshDirect’s most valuable B2B customers & partnerships by continuously identifying and capitalizing on sales growth opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Engage in high volume inbound and outbound calls, using optimal communication methods and talk points to always keep eye on meeting and exceeding customer and personal objectives.
Maintain an ongoing sales mindset for all customers to identify opportunities and drive for wallet share growth. Work with Marketing team to design new campaigns & promotions for targeted audiences.
Educate, advise and consult on our innovative services like recurring order reservations, and main categories such as Fruit, Dairy, Snack, Beverage, Alcohol & Catering for business customers.
Conduct and evaluate regular customer business reviews to identify opportunities for upsell and cross‑sell via increased products they aren’t already purchasing and/or other locations we can provide service for.
Proactively build strong client relationships by identifying opportunities to expand partnerships which may include hosting on‑site visits resulting in increased share of their food and service budget.
Assist customers whose order patterns are in decline. Help address any concerns, determine if and how recapture spend to ensure their success to maximize customer retention.
Lead by example, with focus on meeting and exceeding goals for outbound outreaches via phone & email, customer retention and revenue growth.
Be the voice of the customer and work cross‑functionally with internal partners to communicate & mitigate customer service & experience issues. Advocate for customer needs, coordinating with cross‑functional partners to resolve issues and strengthen the customer experience.
Work directly with Corporate Concierge Associates to ensure all inbound requests & requirements are satisfied in a timely & successful manner.
Continuously monitor industry shifts and innovations to drive competitive advantage and business growth.
Salary Range $72,625 - $80,000
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 2 years of B2B account management or sales experience, with proven success in customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Strong desire and ability to make high-volume outbound sales and relationship management calls.
Excellent communication, consultative selling, and customer service skills.
Proactive, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills.
Confidence throughout the sales cycle — from outreach and follow‑up to closing and retention.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word); Salesforce experience a plus.
Experience in food service or office product sales is preferred but not required.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Open‑mindedness toward new tools, methods, and processes that enhance success.
