Job Description As a Solution Specialist – Azure (SSP, ISS-Azure), you will be responsible for driving Azure cloud adoption and sales execution across Enterprise, SMC, and Canadian business. This role is essential for aligning with Microsoft’s North America sales organization, maximizing Microsoft sales and accelerator programs, and leading pre‑sales technical engagement. You will work closely with Account Executives (AEs), Technical Specialists (TSPs), and Microsoft field teams to position Azure solutions, execute co‑sell initiatives, and drive Azure adoption across key industries.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute Azure sales strategy, driving pipeline growth and increasing Azure adoption across Enterprise, SMC, and Canada.

Work closely with Microsoft North America sales teams (ATU, STU, CSU, ISD) to execute co‑sell motions and industry‑aligned GTM plays.

Support Account Executives in identifying opportunities, shaping deals, and accelerating Azure solution sales.

Leverage Microsoft’s funding programs, sales incentives, and accelerator initiatives to drive customer adoption.

Ensure customers understand and utilize Microsoft’s Azure migration and AI investment programs.

Align ISS sales motions with Microsoft Partner GTM strategies and co‑sell opportunities.

Lead customer conversations, solution assessments, and Azure cloud roadmaps aligned to business outcomes.

Conduct executive briefings, whiteboarding sessions, and solution workshops to showcase Azure’s value.

Support Azure Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to drive customer adoption.

Partner with Microsoft’s STU teams and ISVs to drive Azure consumption and increase win rates.

Work closely with ISS-Industry and ISS-BizApps teams to develop industry‑specific Azure cloud solutions.

Engage with ISS-GDC pre‑sales resources to ensure scalable support for customer engagements.

Work with Azure TSPs to provide technical validation, competitive positioning, and solution differentiation.

Ensure customers understand the economic and business impact of Azure solutions through ROI and TCO modeling.

Support Account Executives in navigating Azure deal structuring and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in cloud computing, Microsoft Azure, or enterprise software sales.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft North America sales organization, including ATU, STU, CSU, and ISD engagement models.

Deep expertise in Azure AI, Security, Data & Analytics, and Infrastructure solutions.

Experience leveraging Microsoft funding programs, co‑sell motions, and accelerator programs.

Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles, solution positioning, and GTM strategy execution.

Strong customer engagement skills, including executive‑level selling, technical workshops, and pre‑sales support.

Experience working with Enterprise, SMC, and Canadian business customers.

Compensation Base Salary Pay Range: USD $110,000 – USD $160,000. The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
