Location & Compensation 9106 Shops Way, Northborough, MA USA – TJ Maxx Store 0776
Starting pay: $15.00 to $15.50 per hour (actual start pay determined by skills, qualifications, experience). Hourly position.
Responsibilities
Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles.
Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards; may be cross‑trained across multiple store areas.
Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor per company procedures.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in store maintenance.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Capability to multitask.
Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
Capable of lifting heavy objects (with or without reasonable accommodation).
Works effectively with peers and supervisors.
Retail customer experience preferred.
