Title: Wine and Spirits Sales Representative
FLSA: Exempt
Base Salary Range: $32,500 - $36,500 a year plus incentives/commissions.

Primary Purpose Achieve sales volume, service, distribution, and profit objectives. Identify business opportunities in assigned territory and develop strategies and tactics with sales supervisor to meet or exceed sales, distribution, merchandising, and retail execution objectives.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain customer rapport by providing outstanding customer service, follow up on commitments, and call on all accounts in assigned areas
Maximize brand distribution and volume in assigned accounts
Know, understand, communicate and execute BDC sales standards
Know and understand and communicate BDC pricing at retail
Prepare daily paperwork and summarize marketing activity within assigned accounts
Work closely with credit and delivery department to ensure all accounts are kept current within BDC standards and ABCC credit policies
Willing to work a flexible work schedule as needed
Communicate with traditional sales representatives to coordinate in account activities including sales and promotions
Increase brand awareness with consumers by conducting in-trade promotions/sampling
Support supplier partners by attending trade events and promotions
Required Skills
Mathematical aptitude is required
Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships
Ability to identify, evaluate, and provide tactical solutions to market challenges
Effective communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to organize, plan and manage time effectively
Ability to take initiative, own issues and problem solve solutions
Follow through on commitments
Self‑directed requiring limited supervision
Must be comfortable in social networking mediums
Experience
4‑6 years of previous sales experience in the food and beverage industry required
Experience managing multiple tasks
MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience and proficiency
Must possess a valid MA driver's license
