Position Description Lead team of Key Account Manager and Account Manager – optionally also Application Engineering (depending on available candidate profile).

Report to Global Director Sales and Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Location Shanghai region, regular presence in Shanghai Songjiang plant – willingness for international travel

Directly manage major customer accounts as working manager with support from Account Manager

Develop relationship to key customers in region (global and regional players) – prepare and execute customer strategy

Lead new business pursuit and account development for assigned accounts

Lead global activity for certain global key accounts assigned to this role

Lead regional activity for global key accounts, closely align with global sales lead (KAM) for respective customer

Lead regional activity with regional customers

Negotiate commercial agreements and business awards within given commercial boundaries

Prepare APQP gate decisions phase 0 and 1 for new business opportunities and present in global review meeting

Manage business funnel and push towards award within given commercial boundaries

Manage current business portfolio

Lead commercial activity during APQP phase 2-5 (especially commercial and engineering changes)

Manage pricing strategies and mid- to long-term volume planning

Monitor customer and market trends and provide input for strategy and sales planning

Required Education & Qualifications

Fluent in English – in writing and in conversation
