The role involves leading, managing, and developing the Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives within the region, ensuring all sales activities align with company direction and policies.
Essential Job Functions / Duties
Build market position by leading and developing the sales team to close new business; arrange business development meetings with existing and prospective clients.
Become a subject matter expert on our business products and services; remain up‑to‑date on industry‑related news.
Interact regularly with local management and develop close relationships with operations staff to ensure customer needs are met.
Develop a growth strategy and set quotas focused on financial gain and profitability to meet ambitious revenue targets.
Follow‑up with the sales team, new clients and operations to ensure seamless implementation when onboarding new clients.
Perform market research to continually identify new pipeline opportunities; present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
Utilize electronic tools to effectively manage sales activities and key information; build and maintain an active pipeline; measure KPIs; identify trends to improve win probability and forecasting accuracy.
Exceed all assigned revenue goals and corporate pricing objectives; work with management on clients that require yield improvement within the customer base.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Sales, Marketing, Global Logistics, or Maritime preferred.
Proven sales track record in transportation and logistics.
At least 6 years in a sales or management role, preferably with industry related to ocean carriers, global logistics, or international trade.
Travel If applicable.
Environment / Equipment / Physical Demands
Work performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels. Requires standing, sitting, walking, computer work, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
Position may require travel ranging from 0–40% depending on territory.

Additional Details The pay range listed for this position is the anticipated starting salary or wage range; the final offered rate will be based on individual merit and relative compensation of employees in similar positions.
