Overview UGP delivers the best customer experience through t-shirts and more. We have experienced rapid growth, ranking in the Inc 5000 fastest growing companies 5 years in a row. We produce the majority of our printed apparel in our Michigan facility with 172,000 SF of production and over 300 employees. We serve both B2C and B2B customers across the United States and help brands and licensors sell online.
This is an in-person, full-time, salaried position with a fixed schedule. Availability outside regular business hours may be required to ensure excellent customer support and prompt deal closes.
Responsibilities
Promote UGP core values and contribute to a respectful, honest, and high-excellence culture; uphold DEI principles.
Convert quotes to leads and sales; coordinate with Marketing which drives quotes.
Communicate sales, store, and personnel information to the Sales Manager in a timely manner.
Adhere to the Digital Code of Conduct.
Provide constructive feedback to help implement changes and improvements.
Participate in weekly 1-on-1 meetings with the Sales Manager.
Coordinate coverage when other team members are unavailable, including email, phone, and travel to other UGP locations if needed.
Ensure customers have the best possible experience and outcomes.
Engage with local communities and attend events (e.g., Downtown Association, networking groups, chamber meetings).
Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person to determine needs, prioritizing the customer’s preferences.
Share ideas for sales and marketing tools with the Sales Manager.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to engage customers and drive sales at events and local opportunities.
Engage in social media to promote the store location and UGP overall.
Location
Storefront must be clean, organized, and welcoming; clear signage for custom orders and retail products.
Measures of Success
Sales L10 Scorecard metrics vs. goal as set by the Sales Team.
Year-over-year growth in custom and retail sales.
Customer feedback rating of at least 90%.
Qualifications
Four-year college degree.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Previous sales experience.
Strong typing speed and accuracy.
Highly organized with strong administrative skills.
Proficient with Gmail, cloud tools, and social media.
Prior management experience is preferred.
