Outside Sales Representative - HVAC Contract Sales
Join the team as an Outside Sales Representative at EMCOR Services New England Mechanical. This role focuses on developing and selling service agreements to commercial clients in the Portland, Maine area.
Job Summary We offer single‑source facilities service solutions, including engineering, design, installation, repair, maintenance, and operations for commercial real estate, financial, healthcare, technology, educational, and industrial facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and onboard new customers.
Utilize various prospecting techniques, including canvassing, networking, referrals, and social media, to secure new meetings with prospective clients.
Capture and track all sales‑related activity within a CRM.
Prepare and present proposals and complete all required administrative functions in a timely manner.
Achieve required sales activity metrics and assigned sales goals.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge and experience of HVAC is preferred but not required.
Business‑to‑business sales experience is preferred.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills are a must.
