Job Title: Outside Sales Account Manager (Open)

Location: Tulsa, OK (RDA) – Welding equipment rental; Oklahoma City, OK (Branch) – Retail shop

Job Summary Under the direction of the District Manager, the incumbent will develop rentals and sales of welding equipment, power generation, and weld automation in the assigned region by following sales leads, making presentations, preparing quotations, maintaining literature, and providing customer follow‑ups. The incumbent will assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Travel within the territory is required, including some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Develop rentals and sales of welding equipment, power generation, and weld automation.

Follow sales leads, make presentations, prepare quotations, maintain literature.

Provide customer follow‑ups and assess customer needs.

Perform onsite equipment demonstrations.

Make application recommendations for welding and positioning equipment.

Develop long‑term supply relationships through contracts and agreements.

Represent the company at trade association meetings and trade shows.

Compile lists of prospective customers from newspapers, business directories, trade journals, etc.

Maintain accurate call reports and expense submissions.

Provide backup coverage at the branch location during vacations or shortages.

Travel within designated territory up to 50% of the time, including some overnight travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Sales experience in industrial equipment rental or welding equipment sales/rental (construction, fabrication, manufacturing).

Knowledge of positioning equipment, welding applications and equipment.

Valid driver’s license.
