Position Purpose This position is designed for an industry expert capable of facilitating a leading role in the sale of PGL's services across a major geographical area. The role involves providing superior customer support to both existing and prospective business partners, building strategic partnerships, and establishing new collaborations with businesses in need of customized logistics solutions. Description Responsibilities include demonstrating products, explaining features, soliciting orders, recommending suitable products, answering customer inquiries, estimating prices, providing ongoing support post-sales, maintaining and developing business relationships, managing key accounts, implementing sales strategies, planning sales programs, evaluating new market opportunities, resolving customer complaints, collaborating on pricing strategies, analyzing sales and profitability, and preparing sales forecasts. Work Activities Discover global supply solutions, collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems, negotiate for supply chain efficiency, analyze logistics impacts, recommend transportation options, communicate externally, develop relationships, and gather relevant information. Qualifications Experience: 1-3 years in sales within a 3PL or Freight Forwarding organization. Education: Industry-related degree or certification preferred. Skills include active listening, effective speaking, persuasion, social perceptiveness, critical thinking, negotiation, service orientation, active learning, coordination, complex problem solving, and judgment. Abilities include oral and written comprehension and expression, speech clarity, problem sensitivity, deductive reasoning, visual acuity, flexibility, idea fluency, inductive reasoning, information ordering, and originality. Tools and Technology include computers, telephones, scheduling and communication software, ERP, CRM, logistics software, and office applications.
