Responsibilities:
Sell, deliver, stock, and merchandise Schwebel brand products to grocery stores, restaurants, schools, and food retailers.
Provide excellent customer service and build relationships.
Responsible for early morning delivery of products.
Solicit new customers to grow the business.
Communicate product knowledge and suggestive sell.
Manage bread product orders.
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
Maintain a clean and organized truck.
Work safely and responsibly.
Requirements:
Prior route sales experience preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to secure a DOT physical.
Maintain a safe driving record.
Provide high-quality customer service.
Previous wholesale bread sales experience is a plus.
Be handheld computer literate.
Adapt quickly to different working and driving conditions.
Physical Demands:
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Reach, sit, stand, bend, squat, walk, kneel, climb, and drive frequently.
Push and pull up to 300 lbs occasionally.
Hours vary by route. Competitive pay and benefits after probation. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
