Description RND Automation engineers, designs, manufactures and services robotic, packaging and assembly automation equipment. Our offerings include horizontal and vertical form fill and seal machinery, automated assembly equipment, and robotic automation for the medical device, consumer product, and industrial device industries. We have an immediate opening for a Key Account Manager in the United States.
The Key Account Sales Associate is responsible for supporting and growing business with assigned strategic accounts in the automation industry. This role combines sales skills, customer relationship management, and technical understanding to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts to maximize sales opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
Assist in developing and implementing account strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
Identify new sales opportunities within existing key accounts and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
Prepare and deliver project information to the apps department and assist in the development of quotes and proposals, in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain detailed records of account interactions, opportunities, and forecasts in Hubspot.
Collaborate with Operations and Service teams to ensure seamless project delivery and ongoing support.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
Support pricing negotiations and contract discussions under the counsel of the Sales Manager.
Participate in regular account review meetings, both internally and with customers.
Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions as needed.
Continuously improve product knowledge through internal training and vendor resources.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets within assigned accounts.
Assist with margin management on key account projects and orders.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the automation, industrial controls, or manufacturing sector. Strong skills in customer relationship building, sales forecasting, and negotiation.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card holder.
