Job Duties
Responsible for selling contract maintenance programs for material handling equipment and catalog parts sales.
Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts in an assigned territory.
Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and build strong business relationships via cold calls, presentations, and follow‑up on leads for new business.
Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts.
Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
Prepare quotations, cost reports, performance reports, and customer correspondence.
Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers, seeking new business and enhancing customer retention through monitoring satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information using online resources.
Discuss sales activities with management.
Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years of related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience.
Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities.
Experience in B2B sales, problem‑solving capabilities, strong sense of urgency, responsibility, self‑motivation, and teamwork.
