Position Overview
Heating Sales and Service Manager at Tortorella Heating & Gas LLC.
Lead sales strategy, service operations, and customer satisfaction for heating equipment, including pool and spa heaters.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Leadership
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies with operational and revenue leads to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify sales and cross‑sell opportunities.
Identify and nurture key client/builder relationships to expand the company’s customer base.
Product Knowledge and Expertise
Five+ years of experience in the propane industry.
Plan workloads for delivery drivers, installers, service technicians, and dispatchers.
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of high‑end heating products and their features.
Manage on‑site truck fleet and resources.
Work with the Heating Technical Trainer to develop standards and provide training.
Proficient in servicing, installing, and maintaining propane and natural gas heating systems, including pool & spa heaters.
Fluent with local and national propane and natural gas industry standards.
Service Excellence
Deliver unwavering service to customers.
Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair services, ensuring timeliness and quality.
Implement best practices for heating delivery and customer satisfaction, continually improving standards.
Market Analysis and Strategy
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Use market insights to develop pricing strategies, product offerings, and marketing campaigns.
Budget Management
Develop and manage budgets for the heating division, optimizing resource allocation for maximum profitability.
Customer Relationship Management
Foster strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem‑solving.
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure swift resolution.
Reporting and Analytics
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, service metrics, and financial results.
Utilize data‑driven insights to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
Safety and Compliance
Emphasize and enforce safety standards and compliance with industry regulations.
Work with the Training Department to develop and conduct safety training sessions.
Location Hampton Bays, New York (On‑Site)
Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $80,000 – $90,000, in accordance with New York’s Pay Transparency Law. Additional compensation may include bonuses or equity as applicable.
