About The Job

In this role, you will hunt for new prospects and opportunities with both new and existing customers. You will meet and exceed targets by leading with customer value, earning trust through excellent people skills, and possessing in-depth proposition knowledge. You will structure deals, leverage market and business acumen to outsell the competition, maintain a close eye on the sales pipeline, identify daily opportunities, and inspire customers to renew their contracts.

The Data & Feeds Sales Specialist will focus on commercializing the next‑generation software and data solutions for Broker Dealers, Asset Managers, Corporates, and other financial institutions handling front, middle, and back‑office operations.

The Data & Feeds Proposition Elements Are

Realtime Low Latency Direct Feeds, End of Day & Time Series Pricing Data (all asset classes)

As Proposition Sales Specialist You Will Be Seen As The Specialist When It Comes To Selling Our Real Time Data Solutions And Will Be Accountable For Structuring, Negotiating And Closing Deals To Drive Growth By

Providing in-depth customer and market insights, to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process

Partnering with technical sales engineering experts, executing through strong collaborative relationships across matrixed functions, including Account Management, Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy, and external partners

Monitoring all aspects of key competitors, analysing their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and developing strategies to achieve competitive advantage

Driving our thought‑leadership agenda as the internal and external spokesperson for your proposition, supporting community building

Having a strong eye for business and commercial strategy

Being able to influence individuals as well as groups in meetings

Being able to work to tight deadlines in a high performance and inspiring environment

Proactively identifying pipeline opportunities

Delivering customer demonstrations on their specific propositions

What Are We Looking For

7+ years of experience in selling Realtime Direct, low latency data‑feeds and experience of selling time‑series data for quant and strategy development workflows.

Outstanding solutions selling skills with a proven track record in a quota‑bearing environment.

Highly driven and self‑motivated with direct experience in selling solutions to the Financial Services community.

Creative problem solver and good sales ideation skills.

Presentation skills (verbal & written).

Strong listening skills and interpersonal skills.

Expert understanding of the Financial Services and Competitor Landscape.

Strong technical knowledge specifically within the financial markets trade and execution domain.

Compensation / Benefits Information

LSEG is committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $111,300 – $185,500. The range may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition, the role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job‑related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
