Position Objective The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer- and product-focused sales culture. This includes ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability while aligning with our values and guiding principles in all store operations.
Functional Responsibilities
Drive for results by meeting company sales goals through effective sales techniques and product knowledge; help customers locate or obtain merchandise based on needs.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; uphold pricing and visual standards.
Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by Management.
Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience
Model and promote MAPS (Most Amazing Personal Service) principles for a cohesive omni-channel experience.
Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
Ensure a fast and efficient register experience; stay current on payments, coupons, returns, exchanges, security, and related policies.
Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and achieve add-on goals including gift card sales.
Sign up clients for reward programs; build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
Know current product fit and style assortment in store and online; maintain consistent client communication.
Operational Excellence
Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
Assist with locate fulfillment and with visual directives (floor sets, window changes, signage, etc.).
Maintain boutique cleanliness and organization as directed.
Teamwork and Growth
Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving.
Seek personal development opportunities and solicit feedback.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Retail or sales experience preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management
Regular attendance is essential; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
Physical Requirements
Constant walking/standing — 67-100% of an 8-hour shift
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs — 1-33% of an 8-hour shift
Frequent climbing — 34-66% of an 8-hour shift
