Job Description – New Car Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Ensure the dealership meets its goals for unit sales, gross profit margins, and profit margins for the new vehicle sales department.
Establish and maintain all managerial tools necessary to achieve strong and consistent profitability, i.e. budgets, projections, forecasts, advertising programs, inventory, personnel management, training programs and sales meetings.
Apply leadership skills to enable all employees to achieve the most success they can in a positive environment of team work.
Lead the department to develop the best customer service possible.
Maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
Strengthen and enhance dealership’s position in the community.
Co-ordinate with, and support, the automotive group’s management team.
Qualifications
Two years of vehicle sales management experience.
Strong leadership and organizational skills evidenced by history of stable and long term career success.
Detail familiarity with DMS systems.
Knowledge and understanding of auto maker financial statements and how they are used to actively manage dealership operations.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory environment for auto dealerships.
Satisfactory background check, drug test, driving record, and insurability.
Bilingual, English and Spanish
