The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in LensCrafters every time. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings. Assist patients in the selection of frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, helping customers choose the best vision solution. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed. Actively participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff. Maintain the appearance of the store and ensure displays and inventory are clean, attractive and organized. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers and calculators with basic math skills Ability to adapt to new technology with a high level of accuracy Strong sales skills with accountability for results and a desire to meet goals Strong communication skills (oral and written) Self-motivated, able to multi-task and adapt in a fast-changing environment LensCrafters is part of Luxottica. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
