Are you a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager ready to lead our sales efforts and significantly expand our market presence for high-performance passive components across the West Coast United States? Exxelia is seeking a driven individual to take ownership of sales growth, manage key accounts, and achieve ambitious sales targets within this crucial region.
This is a hybrid Sales role based on the West Coast of the United States. A successful candidate will work remotely from their West Coast home when not traveling to customer sites, marketing events, or our company offices in New York and Florida. Frequent travel to these locations will be required.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share in the passive components segment (Magnetic, Capacitors, Resistors/Sensors).
Define sales targets, objectives, and action plans for your region in alignment with company goals.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive activities to capitalize on emerging market segments.
Execute effective sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals, in collaboration with BDMs.
Identify and target new customers, markets, and applications for passive components.
Collaborate with marketing and BDMs’ teams to develop effective market penetration strategies and product positioning.
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to represent the company and expand market presence.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts in collaboration with BDMs, reports, and analyses to monitor sales performance and provide insights to management.
Utilize sales tools to track sales activities, manage customer data, and streamline sales processes.
Set goals and targets for the sales representative team and monitor their progress regularly.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
Understand customer needs, requirements, and market dynamics to provide tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Develop strategic account plans to maximize sales opportunities and drive customer retention.
Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field with 5 years minimum of experience.
Proven track record of successful sales achievements in the passive components industry or a related field.
Strong knowledge of the A&D Market.
Experience in managing Sales Representatives and driving their performance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
